For those not game (or too time poor) to make the larger sampler shown last week, this Mary Hickmott golden jubilee design combines a detailed crown with enough wording to document the occasion. It is a magazine cross-stitch chart. Another one that could quite easily be adapted to the diamond jubilee.
I have the mag. with this chart and have seen one adapted for the Diamond Jubilee for sale on ebay but this is not a design I have stitched. Have you seen the latest Mary Hickmott chart in New Stitches mag. #229 for the Diam. Jub.? Too many colours and too much detail so I won't be doing that one though it does look pretty. Sylvia
